Additionally, Miista unites the nostalgia of my rural Spanish heritage with a modernist female sentiment, translating cinematic, surreal, and retrospective inspirations into timeless styles rendered in Italian leathers and unexpected materials. In addition, it’s a pastiche of all those childhood memories of a beautiful farm on the Atlantic coast of Galicia like a stranger into a contemporary East London setting. The name “Miista” pr. /m.ï.s-ta/ is a playful bending of conventions in salute to the worldly and irreverent modern woman. Femininity isn’t just comfort, it is comfortable shoes.
With the vision in mind to combine Scandinavian design and a feminine street style look with individual, handcrafted production – the Seidenfelt Manufaktur started in 2017. Moreover, Seidenfelt guarantees ecological and social production in every phase of the production process. Seidenfelt uses high-quality materials for the manufacture and processing of the bags. Starting with the yarns and metal parts used, through zippers and inner lining to synthetic leather, which is made from polyurethane (PU). Polyurethane is a water-based synthetic leather that does not contain any animal products and is completely recyclable. Goods made from this material are particularly tear-resistant and robust, but still elastic.

Born in 2014, Nahua is a close collaboration between founder Isabelle Moya and an Indian familial embroidery atelier. Sharing unique artistry and using rare vertical embroidery technique, each of the accessories carries the history of noble craftsmanship. Normally in India, they use this technique to make Indian ceremonial clothing and army uniforms. Nahua shares a one-of-a-kind craft while allowing this specific art to continue and pass to the future descendants.
